Introduction: The present study was conducted with the aim of developing Marital Stability Model based on Personality Characteristics and Perceived Stress mediating by problem solving styles. Method: To do the research, 500 married women in Tehran City were selected through Loehlin (2004) method using available sampling method. To measure the study variables, Perceived Stress Scale (Cohen, Kamarck & Mermelstein, 1983), Marital Instability Index (Edwards, Johnson & Booth, 1987), the short form of NEO Personality Five- Factor Inventory (Costa & McCrae, 1985), and Problem- Solving Style (Cassidy & Long, 1996) were used. The study was based on structural equation modeling, specifically, the regression equations. Results: The findings showed that Personality Characteristics and Perceived Stress Mediating by problem Solving styles had an indirect effect on Marital Stability. Conclusion: The fit indices showed that the proposed model in the study has a good fit with the data gathered from married women and a close relationship with the theoretical assumptions.

Introduction: The aim of this research was studying the most effective variables on materialism and explaining the relationships among them. Method: The study was conducted through structural equation modeling. The population included all high school students in Tehran and from among them 300 people were selected through cluster sampling. The instruments included Material Values Scale (MVS), Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS), and Social Comparison Instruments. Results: The results showed that the obtained model has a suitable goodness of fit with the data. Parents' and peers' social support with the mediating role of social comparison have indirect and positive effect on materialism. Furthermore, the direct and positive effect of social comparison on materialism was significant and the highest total effect belonged to peers' support. Conclusion: The findings of this study matched the findings of some similar researches and provide a robust support for the hypothesized structural relationships

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of social anxiety and positive and negative affects with science persuasion in registrar. Method: This correlation study enrolled 230 registrars consisting of 115 man and 115 women who lived in Ardebil city. To collect the data, Social Interaction Anxiety, Scale Positive and Negative Affect Schedule, persuasion- IQ questionnaire were employed. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and step-by-step regression. Finding: Results showed that there is a negative correlation between social anxiety and negative affect with science persuasion. However, there is a positive correlation between positive and negative affects with science persuasion. Furthermore, we showed that positive affect explain roughly 8 percent science persuasion of variance.

Aims: This study investigated the relationship between self-esteem and self-efficacy with persuasion in educational managers. Method: The Population of this study consisted of all educational managers of Islamic Azad University in Tehran. 120 people (76 women and 44 men) were selected by multistage cluster sampling. In order to measure their self-esteem, Koper Smith test (1967) was used and to measure self-efficacy, general self-efficacy beliefs test (Scherer et al, 1982) was used. The Persuasion was measured by applied intelligence Persuasion test (Sepah Mansour and Hooman, 1389). For data analysis, the Pearson correlation and Regression analysis were used. Results and conclusion: The results showed a significant positive correlation between persuasion with self-esteem and persuasion with self- efficacy. (r=0/771,r=0/494). Also the results showed that 59% of the variance associated with the persuasion can be explained with self-esteem (R2 = 0.594) and 24% of the variance in self- efficacy can be explained whit persuasion (R2 = 0.244). The results of the slope coefficients indicated that, in predicting persuasion, the share of self-esteem was more than self- efficacy . (β= 0.70).
